Learn how to own the skies by flying a kite!

We have several classes targeted to different skill-levels and types of kite.

Are you new into kite-flying? Many people think that flying a kite is boring, but they can never be farther from the truth.

Benefits of Kite Flying

Flying a kite is a fun activity that offers a number of benefits anyone could enjoy. Here are some:

Kite flying requires you to be attentive of your surroundings. You have to take note of the wind’s speed and direction. As you tug on the rope guiding the kite, you’ll feel all your tension slipping away. Because you’re required to practice mindfulness, your mind will be taken off your usual worries, and will just focus on the task at hand. This will allow you to pause your thoughts and appreciate your surroundings, giving you time to relax.

As you experience relaxation, you can feel relief from the burden brought by stress. And that alone already has a huge impact on your health. But aside from that, you can also exercise your shoulders, arms, and neck as you pull on the kite or check out its direction. Also, since you’re already outside, you are going to be more inclined to engage in outdoor activities.

Although you can definitely fly a kite alone, it is most often done in groups. Since practically anyone can fly a kite, you can do this activity as a bonding time with your family and friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re old, young, or you have physical limitations. Anyone can enjoy this activity.
